Still plugging away-- slowly-- on my green and orange runner. I've got a "click counter" app on my phone now, to help me keep track of my row count and ensure that all my stripes are the same size. And my latest acquisition is a wooden yarn bowl, which fits right under the loom and keeps me organized. 😉 This week's song: "Rise" by Public Image Limited

"Slow and steady wins the race" A little more progress has been made on my St. Patrick's Day runner-- which will now have to wait to be displayed 'til next year-- but it's been slow going. I continue to hold the thought that any creativity is better than none, though.

As an affirmation of the idea that creativity trumps pain, I've started the weaving project that has been on hold since the end of February because of the issues with my neck and shoulder. I'm sick of putting off joy because I fear pain. It may be slow going, but I think it will be good for my soul.

The loom is warped-- much to my shoulder's dismay-- but the rest of the St. Patrick's Day runner project is on hold until PT (hopefully) makes further weaving possible. This week's song has been an earworm all week, coming and going on an almost daily basis: XTC's "Mayor of Simpleton".
