So, you'd like to become a Twin Geek...
If you've read about the Origins of TGAP and are interested in joining our merry band of creators this time around, please reach out via the Contact page. Let us know which of the existing Geekz referred you, and whether you'd like to be considered a full-time Geek-- planning to post every week for the remainder of the project-- or a Guest Artist who will post sporadically. Once you've been approved as a participant, you will be given login credentials to the "Geekz Only" page of the website, where you will find upload instructions and an FAQ "for Geekz eyes only".

Note: Being a Guest artist is in no way a lesser position; we have had guest artistz in past TGAP's who have made some wonderful contributions. It's all about what commitment you can reasonably agree to make.

Technically, when you join TGAP you are pledging to post a piece of art a week for the duration of the project; however, since this iteration is a four-year endeavor-- a pretty huge commitment-- we are making it a point to relax the expectations a bit, and make this round as supportive and "do-able" as we can. The theory remains the same as it always has been: "All creativity needs is a deadline". Use that deadline in whatever way works best for you. If you need to consider it a hard-and-fast rule to get your butt in gear, by all means do so. But please know that there are no dire consequences for missing a submission. If it feeds your soul to go back and make up a missed submission, go for it. If not, then simply move on and start again... kinda like you would if you cheated on a diet. No tears, no recriminations. This marathon TGAP is meant to support us over the next four years, not to create more pressure and pandemonium; there's likely to be plenty of that swirling around us already.

As Douglas Adams once said, "I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by". (And if it worked for the author of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", who are we to argue?)
