Robyn Anne Piper: Week 3 of 208

I finished my first solo weaving project: a table runner made with rainbow-colored yarn. (It was originally going to be a scarf, but I didn't make my warp long enough, so at 42" it makes a better table runner.)

It is particularly appropriate that I finished it today, on the same day I received word that a friend had left this world. A friend to whom I sang "The Rainbow Connection" just two days ago as she lay in her hospice bed. A friend about whom we reminisced through tears today as I wove this piece with The Muppet Show playing in the background, in her honor.

And so, this week's piece shall be known as "The Regina". 🌈

I forgot to list a "song of the week" last week, but-- obviously-- this week's has to be "Rainbow Connection".
